Privacy policy

The honest version is short: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else's server. Here is the detail behind that.

Who publishes this site

Antigravity IDE Learn is an independent editorial site about Google Antigravity, published by the site operator named on this page. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise a right described below, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

The short version

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. It carries no advertising. It loads nothing from a third-party server — fonts, styles, scripts and icons are all served from this domain. There are no accounts, no forms and no payments.

The only information that reaches anyone is what your browser sends to the web server to fetch a page, and one preference your own browser keeps for you. Both are described below.

Information you give us

None, unless you choose to email us. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no comment section and no login on this site.

If you email [email protected], we hold your address and your message in our mailbox for as long as it takes to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections we have made to the site — normally no more than 24 months. We do not add you to any list.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard web server access logs when a page is requested. A log line typically contains the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the HTTP status, the referring page if your browser sent one, and your browser's user-agent string.

These logs exist for security and to diagnose faults. They are not used to build a profile of you, they are not combined with anything else, they are not shared, and they are deleted or rotated by the host on its own schedule — typically within 30 days.

Storage on your device

This site sets no cookies of any kind — not necessary ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones.

It uses a single localStorage entry, ail-theme, which records whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It is not a cookie: it is never transmitted to any server, it is readable only by this site in that one browser, and it exists solely to honour a choice you made. Clearing your browser's site data removes it, and the site works normally without it.

Because nothing here is used for tracking, advertising or measurement, there is no consent banner. A banner asking permission for storage that does not exist would be misleading. See the cookie statement for the full position.

Third parties

Our host. The company serving these files processes request data as described above, acting as our processor.

Links out. This site links to Google's own pages (antigravity.google) and occasionally to published third-party writing. Following such a link takes you to a site with its own policies, which we do not control and are not responsible for. We embed nothing from those sites — no iframes, no pixels, no fonts, no scripts — so simply reading a page here sends nothing to them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to sell and no advertising to share it with.

Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)

Where the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests for server access logs — keeping the site available and secure. We consider this proportionate because the data is minimal, short-lived and never profiled.
  • Legitimate interests for correspondence you initiate — answering you and keeping a record of corrections.

We rely on consent for nothing, because we do nothing that requires it. The theme preference is strictly necessary to deliver a display setting you actively chose.

International transfers

The site is served from infrastructure that may cache and deliver content from data centres in several countries, which is how content delivery works. Where our host transfers data outside the UK or EEA, it does so under the safeguards in its own data-processing terms, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

In practice, the only data we are likely to hold about any individual is an email exchange you started. Write to [email protected] and we will act on your request within 30 days at no charge.

If you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, to your national supervisory authority. We would rather you raised it with us first.

Children

This site is written for professional developers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. It is a set of static files with no database, no user accounts and no server-side form handling, which removes most of the ways a site of this kind leaks data. Email we hold is protected by the access controls of our mail provider.

Changes to this policy

If this site ever adds analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content or any cookie, this page and the cookie statement will be rewritten to describe it before the change goes live, the effective date at the top will change, and a consent mechanism will be in place where one is required. Material changes will be noted on this page for at least 90 days.
