This site sets no cookies
Not one. No necessary cookies, no preference cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cookies set by anyone else, because no third-party resource is loaded on any page.
Everything the site needs — the stylesheet, the script, the typefaces and the icons — is served from this domain. There is no tag manager, no pixel, no embedded video, no web font hosted elsewhere and no comment or social widget.
Why there is no consent banner
A consent banner exists so you can permit or refuse storage that is not strictly necessary. There is none here to permit or refuse.
Putting a banner on this site would ask you to consent to something that does not happen, which would be misleading and would train you to click through banners that do matter. So there is no banner — and this page exists so that the absence of one is a documented position rather than an oversight.
The one thing stored on your device
If you use the light/dark switch, the site writes a single localStorage entry:
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| ail-theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme, so the page does not flash the wrong one on your next visit | localStorage — not a cookie; never sent to any server | Until you clear your browser's site data |
It is written only when you actively use the switch, it holds nothing that identifies you, it is readable only by this site in that one browser, and the site works normally if you delete it or block storage entirely.
What the server sees
Fetching a page necessarily tells our host your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser's user-agent string. That happens for any website and is not storage on your device. It is covered in the privacy policy.
Controlling storage yourself
Every major browser lets you view and delete site data, and block it entirely per site. Blocking storage for this domain removes the theme preference and nothing else — the site continues to work, and simply follows your operating system's light or dark setting instead.
If this ever changes
If this site ever adds analytics, advertising or any embedded third-party content, this page will be rewritten to name each cookie, its vendor, its purpose and its lifetime; a consent mechanism defaulting to refusal will be in place before any such technology loads; and the privacy policy will change in the same edit. The effective date at the top of this page is how you can tell.
